White Sox Get Jenksed Against Oakland

They say you shouldn't go to bed angry, so rather than drop kicking Butkus D. Dogg into Jefferson County (he went into hiding following the profanity laced eruption immediately following the winning run), I will take out my frustrations on my keyboard.
Taking a 1-0 lead into the bottom of the ninth, closer Bobby Jenks allowed two consecutive singles to Milton Bradley and Mike Piazza before setting down Eric Chavez and Nick Swisher. So, here we go, two on, two out and who comes to the plate to pinch hit but Todd Walker. Yes, the same Todd Walker the Padres cut at the end of spring training because he was hitting right around .200. Yes, the same Todd Walker the Cubs traded last year just to get him off the team. On a 3-2 pitch, Jenks went to his change up one time too many and Walker promptly golfed into left field, scoring Bradley and advancing the runners on a high throw by Scott (I throw like a girl)* Podsednik.
Ozzie elected to walk the next hitter, Travis Buck to load the bases (good call) which left it up to Mark Ellis who promptly lashed one over Podsednik's head and it was good night everybody, please drive safely.
Here are the issues: Jon Garland pitched his guts out tonight. Mike McDougal was a little shaky, but got the job done. The Sox obviously were offensively challenged tonight ( Erstad, Konerko, Thome and Crede were a collective 0-14) and the margin was razor thin to begin with. Enter Jenks.
There is no doubt that Big Bobby is not 100%. Based on the WGN radar (which I realize may not always be accurate) Bobby got no higher than 93mph. He threw 90mph fastballs right over the plate to both Bradley and Piazza. His charm is that he throws it between 96-99. If not, he's hittable. And right now, he's hittable.
Memo to Kenny and Ozzie: PLEASE, I'M BEGGING YOU, put the guy on the 15 day DL and let him work out the kinks. You can close with Matt Thornton, McDougal and possibly David Aardsma. But for the love of Wilbur Wood, the guy is throwing some fat pitches up there (pun intended) and something needs to change. The Indians look good. The Tigers look good. The Twins look good as long as Santana is pitching. Even the Royals look okay right now.
Please, let the guy get it fixed on the side before he turns into Brad Lidge or worse, Calvin Schiraldi.
*Yes, I know the phrase "throws like a girl is not PC" and may offend women. I don't care. And right now, you don't want to mess with me. . .
