I'm Chip Ramsey a career broadcaster who has been a sports radio program director in Milwaukee and Nashville. I've covered everything from high school and college sports (including the SEC, Big Ten, MVC and OVC) to Major League Baseball, The NFL and the NHL. I have a few things to say, and when I want to say them, I say them here.

Breaking News: No More Skirt Chasing

The wait for #500 is over for former White Sox star Frank Thomas. This afternoon, "The Big ~~Skirt~~ Hurt" hit his 500th homer. The irony is #500 was hit at the Twinkie dome, the same place that he hit his first home run in 1990.

Unfortunately for Thomas, #500 occurred in a Toronto Blue Jays uniform, so he was cheated out of having "comon' stretch, stretch, he looks up, you can put it on the board, yes!!!!" forever etched on the video.

Congrats to Frank Thomas, a great player who hung on long enough to hit 500 home runs. He becomes the 21st player to achieve that milestone and the fourth active player to do so.
