Over the course of the last couple of days, there have been some exciting new developments at Chip Shots. 

First, I exchanged e-mails with Tom Fornelli of Foulballs, one of Butkus' recommended sites, regarding one of Tom's recent entries.  Tom was kind enough, without me even asking, to put this site on his blogroll.  I am honored and eternally grateful.

Second, since John Renneke, the normal White Sox writer for Bugs & Cranks is away this week, I have somehow manipulated my way into filling in.  Prior to this, a Cub fan, Adam Godson was filing in.  I'd like to think I did something good for Sox fans everywhere.  A Cub fan writing about the Sox is like Stevie Wonder writing about his trip to the Grand Canyon.  He might have been there, but he just can't see it very clearly.  Again, I am honored and will try to bring their readers the same kind of crap I provide to this site every day.

Kids, we're moving on up and it won't be long until this site achieves the coveted 10 hits a day threshold.
