Random thoughts while wondering whatever happened to D'Ángelo Jiménez:
- The White Sox best pitcher gets tagged for five runs and they can't beat a rookie. Not a surprise, considering Mark Buehrle has long had issues with getting Cleveland batters out like that Jason Matthews. Can we stop the crazy talk now? Seattle is in next at US Commiskey Park.
- The Cubs inch closer to the idle Brewers who got some really bad news yesterday. Good thing Ricky didn't lose that number.
- If I see one more Roy Hobbs reference this morning, I may lose my breakfast. Nice to see the genius has a softer side. Meanwhile, Scott Spiezio decides not to become the next Josh Hancock. The bigger question is, how many substance abuse issues are there on this Cardinal team?
