Breaking News: Important Pending Interruption of Serivce Notice
As some of you may know, in August of 2006, I was terminated from my position as Program Director of WSSP radio, Milwaukee. For nine months, I was out of work, spending my time working on our house and looking for my next challenge as well as creating, writing and maintaining this blog and its' sister site, chipramsey.com. In June of this year, I was offered an opportunity to sew my wild cooking oats and go back to the future as a cook at the Boneyard Pub and Grille in Mukwonago, WI.
After fourteen months of standing in line waiting for another opportunity, I have finally been accepted back into the broadcast fraternity. If you are someone who reads this blog that doesn't know me, it is safe to say that radio is my life. I am thrilled (and to be honest, relived) to be back on the horse. For those that I thought I was dead and buried in my chosen profession, let me assure you that I am not.
This new found fortune will necessitate some changes in how we do business here at Chipshots. Up until now, I've always written in the morning. Because of time conflicts, that will no longer be possible except on the weekend. Second, I have always had free and unlimited access to the internet. That may change for a while as well. I guess what I am saying is, we may be down for a few days, pop up on the weekend and then be down again. To be honest, I'm not sure.
This is not goodbye, this is just a friendly notice that I'll be around, maybe not as often, but I will be around. Keep checking back. We'll be here.

Glad to hear that you'll be back to doing what you love to do. Good luck, Chip!
