Butkus D. Dogg's Friday Fearless Forecast Week 7
Last week I went 6-4, so I'm 35-25 over all. Even the White Sox were incapable of going 10 games over .500, so I'm a pretty lucky dog.
I was 4-1 with the college games, losing only the LSU-Kentucky game, but took a big dump on the rug with the pros going 2-3. I don't know who Stanley is and why he's steamed, but the Bald guy says he's coming over to clean up after me.
Our rules: Five college, five pro, no spread.
College
- Cincinnati vs Pittsburgh
Pro
- Atlanta vs. New Orleans-The Saints are back, and the Falcons suck. You may see Byron Leftwich by halftime of this game. He won't do any good, but you may see him. Take New Orleans.
- Tampa vs. Detroit-The Bucs are pretty good right now while the Lions can be handled. I like Chucky's bunch and I advise you to take Tampa.
- Minnesota vs. Dallas-I hope you enjoyed your big win last week Brad Childress, because it will not be two in a row against a wounded Cowboy squad still mad about getting hammered by New England last week. Take Dallas.
- Chicago vs. Philly-Until the Bears can show me they can stop the run, run the ball and tackle somebody once in a while, I'll be picking against them. Take Philly.
- Pittsburgh vs. Denver-I really, really like this Steeler team. They are one of the most balanced teams in the AFC. They are not New England good, but they are certainly better than Denver good. Take Pittsburgh.
