Cleaning Out The Fridge
Thanksgiving is upon us, so I 'm cleaning the leftovers out of my fridge. . .

- Scott Po Po gets a pink slip for Turkey Day. Thanks for the memories, kid. Let someone else take a chance on a weak armed, injury prone outfielder. I think he could help the Cubs, but Soriano would have to move back in to second.
- The rampant speculation that Torii Hunter is coming to the Sox continues. Players are on the phone with him, Sox fans hope a deal can get done. Don't bet against Tom Hicks. I think Hunter is being measured for his Rangers jersey even as we speak.
- The resurrection of the Chicago Blackhawks began yesterday.
- Could it be those lovable stiffs from Green Bay aren't as lovable as everyone thought? I guess the defense wanted to get some attention since everyone with a notepad and microphone kneels before their quarterback (except for Andrea Kramer of course.)
- Our friends at AA do an outstanding job analyzing why sports fans loathe Sportscenter. I can't even watch it anymore.
- Comcast's lawyers are sending the NFL a big box of STFU for Thanksgiving.
- Stanford Coach and megalomaniac Jim Harbaugh says he will not be a candidate to succeed Lloyd Carr at Michigan. Um, Jim, apparently you were the only one to think that. You had as much chance of getting that job as Dennis Kucinich has of being elected President. And that's after Hillary Clinton and Barach Obama's planes collide in mid-air.
- Undaunted that he's been canned and silenced in the same week, Scott Boras continues to beat his chest, this time on behalf of Andruw Jones. Boras is turning into Robert Wuhl right before our eyes.
- Dennis Dodd says that if you divide Alabama's wins by Nick Saban's salary it comes out to $666,666.66 per game. I guess Mal Moore literally made a deal with the Devil.
- Here's more proof that people will buy anything.
- Another in the series of humorous piecesfrom our friends at Kissing Suzy Kolber.
- The rats continue to jump overboard on the good ship Fred Thompson.
- Fred Goldman needs some serious therapy.
