Actually heard on a local (Milwaukee) TV station: "A major winter storm is headed for Wisconsin bringing ice and sleet and snow but first, an update on the condition of Packers quarterback Brett Favre." Now, I know football is a big deal and the Elderly Hillbilly is the second coming around these parts, but don't you think a winter storm is a higher priority than a Hillbilly quarterback? The cheeseheads can relax their sphincters, he's fine, he'll play against Oakland. The only way that he would miss a start is if they carried him out in a body bag, and then he'd probably still play the next week. BTW, does anyone have an idea of where I can pick up a #33 Cowboys jersey cheap? Nathan Jones is my new favorite player.- It looks like the Washington Nationals had no problem getting a center fielder. There is a dwindling list of them available. You don't even have to go to Japan or Pittsburgh. By the way, if getting Jason bay in a trade means dumping Mike MacUseless, Andy Sisco and David Aardsma, go for it Kenny. Even if Bay is probably a second stringer at best on most competitive teams. Meanwhile, Kenny's former holy grail, Miguel Cabrera is still being considered by the Angels if the Marlins can stand down on the price a bit.
