Ramsey's Fearless Forecast-AL West Edition

Angels: I think Judy Jon Garland puts them over the top.  They are a very balanced team and Mike Scioscia knows how to handle the horse down the stretch.  The big issue for them is with John Lackey out until May and Kelvim Escobar maybe out for the year, can they make up the loss in pitching and avoid a slow start?

Mariners: Also a balanced team, but I like the Angels offensively better.  Great starting pitching, but Brad Wilkerson in right doesn't get it done for me.  Their middle relief is a bit shaky too.

Rangers: While this year won't be the disaster it was for Ron Washington a year ago, it won't be better than a five hundred year.  Pitching wins championships, yet these guys never seem to have any.

A's: Under construction.  They've been gutted and refit and it will take time for the kids to get used to the major league level.  But they won't be gone long.
