Finally, Someone Stands Up For Taxpayers
At long last, somebody in Washington has come to the aid of the American taxpayer by wondering out loud what Senator Arlen Sphincter's (R-Comcast) investigation into the NFL has to do with the problems real Americans face.Republican Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, also a member of the Senate judiciary committee,is, like most people not owned by a cable company, scratching his head over Sphincter's boondoggle. "I think I'm like most Americans who believe we can make better use of our time. We're getting asked about gas prices, wars and judges but nobody is asking us about football", said Graham, speaking for millions of taxpayers across the country.
In the words of our favorite TV pitchman, the Miller High Life delivery guy, "Common sense this is your wakeup call. Get you butt out of bed."
