A couple of brothers from Milwaukee have organized a web site and a rally for tomorrow at Lambeau field.  This on the heels of the news that if Favre absolutely wants to come out of retirement, he will most likely remain a Packer and begin the year as Aaron Rodger's backup.

This whole mess is of Favre's making.  He announced he was retiring.  No one, as leaked to people like Peter King forced Favre out, the Packers just demanded he make a decision early enough so they could plan for this year.  Favre said he was out, the Packers (and most of the smart fans) moved forward and suddenly, from the swamps of Mississippi comes a big cry of "GOT Y'ALL!"

The Packers players are sick of this.  Ted Thompson is sick of this.  Mike McCarthy is sick of this.  The fans (most of them anyway) are sick of this.  Thompson and McCarthy have been pushed into a totally no win situation, calculated by Favre and his lackeys to make Favre look good either way.  This was the biggest con job since we bought Manhattan from the Indians.

And now, idiot fans are having idiot rallies.  For what?  So they can get their stupid, cheese topped heads on TV on the six o'clock news?  That's right kids, Ted Thompson and Mike McCarthy are cowering under their desks because you the fans have gotten out your best color crayons and made signs. The fans are on TV and they are angry, let's kiss, make up, scrap everything we've worked on for seven months and let Brett take over again. It's the only way to make the fans happy again.

The best thing Ted Thompson could do is trade Favre to the Dolphins.  Or the Texans.  Or the Browns.  Or some team without receivers and an offensive line and let Favre get knocked on his hall of fame ass a few times.  Maybe then everyone will realize as great as this guy is, he's a bunko artist, abusing the fans and the people that loved and worshiped him for years by being an arrogant, self-serving, waffling jerk.  Favre beat the system by faking retirement, running for the sidelines and then turning upfield and throwing a bomb. 

There is no honor among thieves.
