Butkus D. Dogg's Fearless Friday Forecast Week 6

Wow.  I got beat so bad last week, PETA was over here checking on me.  3-7 is an awful week and the fat dog never lets me forget it.  Now he sneaks up behind me and yells "Roll Tide!"  I think Mama put him up to it.

They say every dog has his day and this better be my weekend.  I'm 28-17 on the year and need to get back in the high life again.

Five college, five pro, straight up:

College

  • Penn State vs. Purdue-This could be a trap game for Penn State but I think JoPa will prove otherwise.  Take Penn State.
  • Auburn vs. Vanderbilt-Will the real Vanderbilt please stand up?  They will and Auburn will hammer them.  Take Auburn
  • Oregon vs. USC-I'd hate to be the Ducks knowing that I'm facing a very angry USC team.  It will be roast duck when the Trojans unload on them.  Take USC
  • Ohio State vs. Wisconsin-This one is too close to call, but at the end of the day, Ohio State has more depth and more talent. Take Ohio State
  • Missouri vs. Nebraska-If you think Bo Pellini went crazy last week, just wait until Missouri hands him his butt on Saturday. Take Mizzou.

Pro

  • Chicago vs. Detroit-The Lions beat the Bears twice last year, so they have some confidence.  The Bears are beat up.  Most importantly, it's not a Sunday night game.  Take Detroit
  • Green Bay vs. Atlanta-If Arron Rodgers is screwed, the Packers are screwed.  Based on the medical reports, Aaron Rodgers is screwed. Take Atlanta.
  • Seattle vs. NY Giants-I don't know why, but I like the Walrus in this matchup. Take Seattle.
  • Pittsburgh at Jacksonville-The Steelers are a pretty tough bunch, but I think Jack Del Rio might cook something up to surprise them.  Take Jacksonville
  • Minnesota vs. New Orleans-The Saints will march away with a win against a team that has some offensive weapons but can't pull the trigger.  Take New Orleans.
