Butkus D. Dogg's Friday Fearless Forecast Week 13

I'm baaaaack.  I went 8-2 last week going 5-0 in the NFL games and missing just two college games that could have gone either way. I guess when the bald guy threatened me with a trip to a Korean Restaurant, I got the message loud and clear.

I'm now 54-41 on the year.  I'm not counting the week the fat dog filled in either.

Five college, five pro, straight up.  Let's continue to make magic before I become Hee-Seop Choi's dinner:

College

  • Michigan vs. Ohio State: This used to be in the same realm as Nebraska-Oklahoma, but with Michigan deep in the tank and Rich Rod at the throats of the Michigan fans, I see nothing but Beanie right, Beanie left and Beanie in the end zone.  Take Ohio State.
  • Michigan State vs. Penn State: Michigan State brings at least one Ringer to the party, but it's not the first time JoPa has faced a great running back. I also think Michigan State is a little over rated due to the Big Ten being awful this year. Take Penn State.
  • Illinois vs. Northwestern: Northwestern has had a great year and should be able to squeeze the Juice against Illinois.  Take Northwestern.
  • Pittsburgh vs. Cincinnati:  This one time I'm betting the pieces are in place.  Take Pittsburgh.
  • Texas Tech vs. Oklahoma: This is the big game of the weekend and like the bald guy has been telling you, if Oklahoma is going to make it to the BCS championship, they have to win this game.  They will.  Take Oklahoma.

Pro

  • Chicago vs. St. Louis: Wow, watching this game may be the equivalent of stepping in something the fat dog has left on the carpet.  Somebody has to win and since St. Louis has some offensive weapons, it probably will be them.  Watch for the wheels to come off the Bears wagon Sunday with a lot of finger pointing and he said he said stuff, too.  Take St. Louis.
  • New York J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets vs. Tennessee:  Brett Favre is about to get up close and personal with Albert Haynsworth and not enjoy it.  Take Tennessee.
  • Minnesota vs. Jacksonville: Two dysfunctional teams with disappointing seasons try to get off the mat.  Flip a coin it stands on end other than this game is being played in Florida.  Take Jacksonville.
  • Indianapolis vs. San Diego: The Colts are playing much better now that they have a healthy Peyton Manning although other injuries to key players have made this season pretty tough on them.   Even so, the Chargers are in disarray, especially after that tough loss to Pittsburgh.  Take Indy.
  • Green Bay vs. New Orleans:  This game opens a slate of at least four consecutive winnable games for Green Bay and an opportunity to put some distance between them and the Bears and Vikings.  This is also a big game for the Saints who are fighting for a possible wild card slot.  The Saints bring a big pass offense and the Packers a decent pass defense.  This may wind up being a shootout, but in the end, the Packers have more talent.  Take Green Bay.
