Pols Up To More B(C)S

I don't mean to harp (okay I do) on our elected officials but will someone tell me what deciding a college football champion has anything to do whatsoever with the United States Congress?

With the economy in chaos, the auto industry about to collapse and people losing their homes, don't these three stooges have anything better to do than try to enact legislation against college football?

Surely, President-elect Obama was kidding when he said he wanted to do something about the BCS.  Okay, he may have not been kidding, but certainly the man is smart enough to realize that there is nothing he can do about it other than wish for it.

Our constitution does not allow for "life, liberty and the pursuit of a football playoff system."  And it certainly does not allow for members of congress to grandstand on irrelevant issues that they have no control over, legally or otherwise.

Why in the hell weren't these jokers voted out of office on November 4?
