Bears Let Opportunity, Division, Slip Away

Nicely done, Chicago Bears.  First and goal from the one and somebody can't figure out a play to move the pile forward.  Or, your coach isn't bright enough to figure after three tries, kick the field goal, get the points and keep the lead.  No, that's too easy.

It was too easy for the Vikings last night.  The only thing they didn't come up with was an Oscar for Gus Frerotte and the acting job he pulled when the Prince bumped into him.

Purple Jesus owns the Bears.  Just owns them.  Like Ryan Grant. If you can't stop the run in your own division, the best you can hope for is to finish ahead of the Lions.

Where the heck was Peanut Tillman while Bernard Berrian was doing his impression of Ben Johnson?  That my friends was a textbook blown assignment which most likely will end in a blown season.  And then to let them score again before halftime?  So much for the vaulted Bears defense.

Memo to Kyle Orton: The Bears already have a quarterback capable of being picked off three times in a half on the roster, they don't need another one.

It looks like the Vikings finally have it together while the Bears and Packers are being exposed as frauds.  It was a huge game for the Bears last night and they left it all on the goal line and handed it to the Vikings on a silver platter.  Is it baseball season yet?
