Will Mangini Out of the Bottle Mean Hasty Hillbilly Healing?

You heard Jim and Phil weeping, wailing and gnashing their teeth late in yesterday afternoon's game at the prospect of Brett Favre finally going away (this time for good.) Favre claims his right arm is bothering him and that he might retire (cue Aerosmith, "Same old story, same old song and dance.)
But the wounds of the Hillbilly are more than arm deep. Favre disliked playing for Eric Mangini who he felt did not treat him with the proper amount of respect (which means he actually told Brett how to do his job and got in his face once in awhile.)
Now that Mangini is gone, will the Jets consider hiring a Favre friendly coach. Maybe Mike Sherman would like to come back to the NFL or Mike Holmgren would like to come to New York. Or, someone like Vikings O.C. Darrell Bevell, a close friend of Favre. How about former Packers QB coach Steve Mariuchi? All of these men are known to love Farve and to pretty much let him be himself.
Is hiring a coach to please Favre a priority with the Jets and how badly do they want him back? He does sell a lot of jerseys and he still has some game left. Does he have enough left to where the Jets want to deal with his summer soap opera or do the Jets secretly hope he takes the tractor and stays on the plantation?
My dream team would be Farve and Brian Billick in a battle of egos that would be the biggest in New York since Phil Sims played for Bill Parcells.
The truth is Favre's arm will remain sore until the new coach is announced and only then will he decide whether or not he is miraculously better or forced into a permanent plantation life in Mississippi. Stay tuned fans, this will be interesting. Favre will make it that way.
