In a shocker, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have fired head coach Jon Gruden and GM Bruce Allen. 

The Bucs fell one game short of the playoffs this year, losing to Oakland on the final weekend of the season.

With almost all of the coaching vacancies in the NFL filled for next year (at this point) Gruden may have to wait a year to get back in the game.

You wonder if this had to do with the direction of the team, dissatisfaction from ownership over missing the playoffs or perhaps trimming administrative payroll.

It will be interesting to see who interviews for these jobs and how quickly these positions are filled.
