Ramsey's Fearless Forecast::NL East Edition

Phillies-The world champs are probably the team to beat in the NL and are a balanced club both pitching and offensively.  Winning last year raises the bar, but these guys have the mindset to handle it.

Braves-Your surprise team for 2009.  Bobby Cox will find a way to get it done with tis group.

Mets-One thing I know about Jerry Manuel:  He'd be great at horseshoes where close actually counts.  I think they continue to not meet expectations which could lead to some interesting developments.

Marlins-Young, very young.  People always give them a chance based on their history, but I think they are still a year or two and a few players away from scaring anybody.

Nationals-That stench from Washington is not the liberals running the country, it's the Nationals who would finish last in a two team division.
