Ramsey's Fearless Forecast:: NL Central Edition

Cubs-The 500 pound gorilla of the National League, they turn into a chimp in October.  With them, it's not about the regular season, because they are clearly the best team in baseball's weakest division.  It's about the playoffs and can they finally get over the hump.

Brewers-If their pitching comes through and if they get big years from Bill Hall and Ricky Weeks, they should be a wild card contender again.  If they are in the hunt in June, Doug Melvin will pull off another big deal.

Reds-They will be better, but a long way behind the first two.

Cardinals-Sorry, friends.  The genius is out of miracles.  Age, injury and the Genius' own arrogance will drive the Cars down this year.

Houston-They could finish anywhere between third and fifth in this division, but I think there are some issues with this team that are more off the field than on the field.  Cecil Cooper probably won't be there to conduct exit interviews in October.

Pirates-At least they are not as bad as the Nationals.
