Lost in all of the stories about the Elderly Hillbilly's anger toward the Packers, is this little nugget from Peter King.  Apparently, the Hillbilly isn't returning his BFF's phone calls.  King also denies Favre hates Packers GM Ted Thompson. 

Says PK:

My feeling: I've had three conversations with Favre since he retired from the Jets, and he hasn't conveyed any hatred or venom toward the Packers in any of them. But it's also a topic I haven't probed him on either.

How in the name of Dick Butkus and all that is holy can Peter King have a tight relationship with Favre and NOT ask him his feelings about Green Bay?  That's either not wanting to piss him off so you can suck up to him further or just being a piss poor journalist.

Aren't Favre's feelings toward Green Bay driving him to come out of retirement a second time, this time for a division rival so he can "stick it to Ted?"  Hasn't Favre said that all along?

Jeez Peter, put down the Starbuck's and pay attention.

No wonder Favre has gotten a free pass for all these years.
