I'm Chip Ramsey a career broadcaster who has been a sports radio program director in Milwaukee and Nashville. I've covered everything from high school and college sports (including the SEC, Big Ten,
MVC and OVC) to Major League Baseball, The NFL and the NHL. I have a few things to say, and when I want to say them, I say them here.
I mostly talk about my teams, which would be the White Sox, Bears, and Blackhawks, but I do talk about other things as well. Thanks for dropping by. I hope you will bookmark this site and visit
often!
How gullible do Brett Favre and his agent Bus Cook think we are? On the heels of a report from WCCO in Minneapolis that Favre has signed a deal with the Vikings. Cook has publicly denied the reports. Which leads to this statement being true: Farve has most likely agreed in principle verbally, he just hasn't officially signed it yet nor has it been sent to the league office. He may not "officially" sign it for a couple of weeks until Brad Childress returns from his vacation and a press conference with all of the important parties can be properly lined up.
Cook is technically telling the truth, but he's splitting hairs like a blind barber while doing it. Most semi-informed people in the free world know Farve will play for Minnesota this season. Even Packer fans aren't that deep in denial, Bus.
Try this response next time: "I don't comment on rumors" and walk the hell away. Please. This denial crap is getting old. And we're not buying it, so please, just stop.
