Reunited And It Feels So Good

Ozzie Guillen offered a two million dollar reward and theorized Bartolo Colon was mourning the passing of Michael Jackson.  Kenny Williams sent out a search party.  Finally, the Chicago White Sox located the ample right hander in his native Dominican and he will be on the mound tonight in Charlotte.

Theories as to Colon's whereabouts abounded with no one knowing where exactly he was.  Sox GM Kenny Williams left him several voice mails which were left unanswered and even Colon's agent wasn't sure where he was. His disappearance sparked panic among buffet owners from coast to coast not knowing if Colon was in their area and if he would be showing up at any time to eat them out of business.

However, it's a happy ending for all involved.

Last year you may remember under similar circumstances, Colon refused to report to a minor league assignment and the Red Sox dropped him.  Fortunately here, cooler heads prevailed and Colon will be in Charlotte for tonight's game.

BTW, big boy, large fellas don't look good in horizontal stripes.  Trust me, I know.
