Here's what's wrong with America: This Tila Tequila claims she was beaten by Chargers linebacker Shane Merriman.  He says she was drunk and he was trying to protect her.  Whatever.  I don't care. 

So now, this Tila Tequila is going to talk to the DA  about it.  Rather than discreetly show up at the DA's office with an attorney to tell her story, she puts details of her upcoming visit on Twitter.  Why? I'm not sure.  She also threatens Merriman indirectly with some trash talk. Again, why?

Lady, if someone beat you up, get an attorney, file charges and let it ride.  Don't use it as a way to garner attention because it makes you look like you are guilty and you are trying to sway public opinion in your favor.  My personal opinion is I don't care.  You obviously have drinking issues.  He obviously has anger issues.  Sounds to me like this is a private issue between two adults, one of whom is acting like a ten year old.

If I were her attorney, I'd kick her ass, but I'm sure he signed off on it trying to put fear into Merriman and to publicly air some dirty linen to force some kind of payment.  As in "you forget about going to the DA" or "you drop the charges" and "I'll get you some bling" or "I'll make sure you get paid."

Because that's what all these deals are about, right?  Getting paid?  Like the Big Ben deal.  Like this deal.

It's wrong and it makes all of us look like idiots to have to share the same planet with these people.

Please stop Tweeting.  You are giving me a headache.
