Now We Know Why

The Chicago White Sox have really had a tough time hitting this year.  Need evidence?  How about a 2-1 loss Sunday afternoon to Kansas City.  Finally, White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen explains why the Sox are having problems getting players motivated and focused on hitting:

"You see Beckham and Getz fighting and you turn around and see the veteran with his head between his legs," Guillen said. "Well, if I have $40 or $60 million in my bank, I should go out and have fun and laugh every time I get an at-bat. This game is about fun and winning."

Well, that explains it.  The White Sox veteran players are capable of putting their head between their legs.  What's that old saying?  If I could put my head between my legs, I'd never leave the clubhouse?  Boy, just wait until Beckham and Getz learn to put their heads between their legs.  They too will lose all focus.

One more item, this according to Phil Rogers of the Tribune:

"The Rays are sold on outfielder Desmond Jennings, which means they will look to trade B.J. Upton or Carl Crawford."

Kenny Williams, you have been served notice that "The Answer" is available.  Now go get him!
