Soccer great Pele says he'd die for his country and can't figure out why his American equal, Michael Jordan, won't be in Denmark begging for Chicago to host the 2016 Olympics. Pele, of course is there, fighting for Brazil to get the games.

Truth be told, when you have Obama and Oprah, Michael becomes window dressing.  Besides, Michael isn't FROM Chicago, he just played there.

Further, Michael isn't the most popular ex-athelete in Chicago.  That honor goes to Da Coach, Mike Ditka.

Maybe if Pele would stop flapping his gums and read the Chicago Tribune on-line once in awhile, he'd know that.
