So, Stanford coach Jim Harbaugh got into it with USC coach Pete Carroll after Stanford's destruction of USC on Saturday.  According to reports, the two had words after Harbaugh went for a two point conversion when the game was way out of hand.

I'm not surprised by Harbaugh's feistiness because he comes by it honestly.

In 1993, I was the sideline reporter for Indiana State football.  Indiana State was playing Western Kentucky, coached by Jim's father Jack Harbaugh.  WKU pounded ISU 41-14 that day and after the game the two coaches exchanged hostilities instead of hand shakes.  Guess who was caught right in the middle of it trying to pry ISU coach Dennis Raetz loose for his post game interview?  Yup, that's right.

Raetz and Harbaugh were like a couple of dock workers, two really tough dudes.
