Full Figured Coaches Fall Flat As Fat Lady Sings

It was a tough day at the office for three full figured coaches who are all in pretty deep trouble at their respective schools.

Maryland blew a late lead to Florida State, giving Bobby Bowden, another troubled coach, his 28th consecutive bowl eligible season. Ralph Friedgen, not so lucky, probably will get fired art Maryland at the end of the season.

Notre Dame lost in overtime to UCONN intensifying the rumors that Charlie Weis will be gone at season's end.

At this writing, Kansas is getting killed by Texas, a bad night for Mark Mangino, who may also be out soon due to some questionable behavior and a lot of conjecture.

These full figured coaches may have heard another full figured person, the fat lady, singing for them today.
