White Sox Dump Chicago Nachos for Mexican Nachos

When it comes to squeezing every possible ounce of profit out of  U.S. Commiskey Park, the Chicago White Sox are king.  Recently, they dumped their Chicago based nacho supplier Azteca for a Mexican based supplier, Mission.

In a tersly worded statement, the Sox said "Azteca Foods was given every opportunity to retain our business moving forward, and we understand they are disappointed they lost the business."  Loosely translated, it means "When we put Mission's balls in a vice, they screamed in pain.  Azteca did not."

Lost in the discussion is how Azteca is a local company who employs people from Chicago as opposed to mission, based in Mexico which employs people who someday hope to climb under a fence.

Plus, the people who own Azteca are lifelong, card carrying Sox fans.  The people at Mission probably like soccer.

I guess with the savings the Sox will realize on Nachos, they can go out and get a decent outfielder.  Or, just send the checks right to the Chairman.
