It's Only Words

I think the NFL is overreacting a little bit to the Josh McDaniels fire up your troops speech from Thursday night.

Swear words scare or offend no one.  We've all heard them.  We can all lipread when some coach f-bombs his quarterback after his fifth interception (except Lovie Smith.  He does absolutely nothing.)

The NFL Network is shown in six homes, three of which had people who were passed out from too much turkey, one that had the owner driving back from dinner at his brother's house and the other two were told by their wives that they had watched too much turkey and it was time to watch back episodes of Grey's Anatomy on Tivo.

It's not that big a deal, and besides, unlike CBS, the FCC does not regulate cable.

Lighten up boys and keep on keeping it real.  You owe it to the six people who watch you.
