Butkus D. Dogg's Friday Fearless Forecast (Week 20)

It's winding down. Only four games this weekend ans only seven games total left.  Which means very soon I will go away faster than Lane Kiffin at a University of Tennessee booster club meeting. This makes me sad, but I'll be okay.  At least I'm not going to the Humane Society.  Or the glue factory. Or Haiti.

It's been a tough week around here.  Mama and Grand mama gave me and the fat dog a bath, but since they move at the speed of a snail with a broken leg, we got away before they could get us totally dry.  Damn Fat Dog kept shaking himself off at me saying "Look Butkus, I a waintorm!"  I didn't spell it wrong, he said "waintorm"   If they had a special Olympics for dogs, he'd need a U-Haul for his gold medals!

Last week I was three and one and over the season, pro and college I'm 127-62 and very pleased with myself.

Four big games, straight up.

Arizona at New Orleans: The Cards were impressive in their first round win over the defenseless Packers, but should face a stiffer test from the Saints, especially on the road.  The difference is the Cards are a dome team too and can handle the noise and all of the other fun inside the Superdome.  The Saints have been struggling lately.  I'm going to give big Mo and Big Red a shot. Take Arizona.

Baltimore at Indianapolis: If you are from Baltimore, this is a battle of your former team versus your current team.  Surely they will bring up the connection ad nasuem during the broadcast.  Baltimore has a great defense, Indy has a great offense.  Baltimore has been playing well down the stretch, Indy has been dogging it, resting everyone.  However, there is no doubt Indy is focused on the prize which they gave up being undefeated to go after.  And they are the home team.  Take Indianapolis.

Dallas vs. Minnesota: The Vikings have struggled down the stretch and our last vision of Brett Favre in a playoff game was getting picked off against the Giants, but the Vikings are very good in their own building and if they are firing on all cylinders, the Cowboys are done.  Take Minnesota.

NY J-E-T-S Jets, Jets, Jets vs. San Diego: Every time I pick against Rex Ryan's team, they make me look bad, but I can assure you the Chargers are pretty tough to beat.  They've been red hot and LT is running like LT.  Sure, the Jets have looked the last two weeks, but playing the Bengals will feel like playing the JV against San Diego.  Take San Diego.
