PERCOTA Does Not Like Your Chicago White Sox (Again)

The new PERCOTA predictions are out for 2010 and once again baseball's version of the geek squad thinks it will be a long season for the Good Guys.  The Sox are picked to second in the AL Central, three games behind Minnesota.  The Sox are forecast to win 79 games in 2010, while the Twinkies are to win 82.

Of course some of the things a computer can't take into account are factors like how the Twinkies will adjust to their new outdoor ballpark.  That's a mystery no one, not even Bill Gates has the answer to.  Or, if the Sox make some in-season moves and get a left handed hitting power stick that they should have had when they canceled Jim Thome's membership to the U.S. Commiskey Park Stadium Club.

I'm going to quote Hawk Harrelson, who offers the best advice "you're going to win sixty, you are going to lose sixty and the rest depends on what you do with those forty other games."
