Your Tuesday Nooner: Flowers Sent Down, Phil Shills For The Genius
- The Sox made some roster moves sending Tyler Flowers, Carlos Torres, Brent Morel, Jordan Danks C.J. Retherford and a few others to the minor league camp. Sergio Santos is still on the clock. 32 players are still in camp, but only 25 get to play final Jeopardy!
- I like Phil Rogers, but come on. That's three straight columns where he talks about Ozzie potentially leaving because of Twittergate. And to put a cherry on top of today's sundae, Phil beats the drum for the Genius. To quote our hero and role model: "Mommy, make it stop!"
- The Sox are scheduled to play San Francisco today, but chances are Juan (Ooo ooo) Uribe won't be in the lineup. He hurt himself yesterday running
for a buffet tableout a double. The weather may not permit this game to be played, so if it doesn't, look for more inane newspaper articles about Ozzie leaving and The Genius taking over. - You know, the more I read it, the angrier I get. Who would you rather have in the Sox dugout right now: Ozzie or Tony The Useless?. For those of you who want the Genius back, please direct your attention to game 4 of the 1983 ALCS. 'Nuff said.
