I'm Chip Ramsey a career broadcaster who has been a sports radio program director in Milwaukee and Nashville. I've covered everything from high school and college sports (including the SEC, Big Ten, MVC and OVC) to Major League Baseball, The NFL and the NHL. I have a few things to say, and when I want to say them, I say them here.

Congrats to former Bears coach Stuttering Dave Wannstedt who was given an extension by Pitt today. I have to admit, Stuttering Dave has done a nice job at Pitt. I'm sure soon he'll announce that he has all the pieces in place to compete for a national championship. Yeah, right.

Stutter on, Dave. Two more winning seasons and one more extension and perhaps Jimmy Johnson will put you back in his will. Or at least send you a Christmas card,
