Ramsey's Fearless Forecast: AL Central
- Minnesota Twins-When it comes right down to it, these guys always seem to execute in the clutch. Their starters are slightly above average, their bullpen without Joe Nathan is mortal, but when you add up all of the parts, you have to give it to the Twins until someone else takes it away.
- Chicago White Sox-See separate analysis
- Detroit Tigers-I think the Tigers have the bats to keep up the two divisional big boys, but I think the arms are a shade weaker. If they get career years from their starters and their weakened bullpen can be effective, they are capable of wining the division.
- Cleveland Indians-I've read a lot of uplifting and optimistic things about the Indians, but frankly, I don't see them. At least not this year.
- Kansas City Royals-All they need are Jerry Owens, Willie Harris and Luis Vizcaino and they could put the band back together. They may be improved, but that's a relative term when it comes to the Royals.
