Okay Jake Peavy.  We've heard it all.  First it was your mechanics, then it was the amount of throwing on the side, then it was no spin on your pitches, yadda, yadda, yadda.  We're tired of it, Jake.

We'd like, no we expect, you to go out and throw like the highly paid professional you are supposed to be.  No excuses, no B.S., just show us you have the stuff you are supposed to have.  Your team needs you.  They have buried themselves in a deep hole, and while you are not singly responsible, you are one of those people who has let your team down by your awful performance.

Just give us seven to eight decent innings and the pen can handle the rest.

The time for talking and excuse making is over.  You've had three months to get it together.  We're tired of the talk. If we wanted to hear someone make a bunch of lame excuses for poor performance, we could become Cub fans or watch Danica Patrick's press conference after the Indy 500.We're better than that Jake and so are you.  At least we thought so.
