I'm Chip Ramsey a career broadcaster who has been a sports radio program director in Milwaukee and Nashville. I've covered everything from high school and college sports (including the SEC, Big Ten, MVC and OVC) to Major League Baseball, The NFL and the NHL. I have a few things to say, and when I want to say them, I say them here.

After making Steve Stone the object of his ire Friday regarding Tyler Colvin, Lou Piniella says he's going to give the kid more PT. Why? Xavier Nady let two catchable fly balls drop in front of him on Saturday in right field. Save for Marlon Byrd, the Cubs outfield defense makes the Sox outfield defense look like the '85 Cardinals.
If the White Sox starters can continue to turn in the kind of quality starts they had this weekend, they may actually be able to help turn this thing around in a hurry. Provided the offense can get it going.
You wonder what could have been in the ninth inning if Omar Vizquel had been available.
I watched the great Strassburg pitch yesterday on TBS. I think if you are patient with him and have an umpire who squeezes a little you have a chance against him. The game Saturday will be like a playoff game. The key to beating him at this point is run up the pitch count as fast as you can (it's 90 pitches and done), get his happy butt out of the game and take your chances with your pen Although I have to tell you, the Nats aren't a bad team.
I have to admit that Patrick Kane scares the hell out of me and not as a hockey player. The guys behavior the last few days has been pretty outrageous and hopefully, the Bowman boys will sit him down and tell him to chillax.
