One Down, One To Go?

It's a final.  Edwin Jackson, is for the moment, a member of the Chicago White Sox.  He was acquired moments ago from Arizona for Daniel Hudson and a lefty David Holmberg.

Now the question if you are Kenny Williams is do you keep Jackson or flip him and another, non-pitching prospect for Adam Dunn and perhaps someone who can be your fifth starter.

Unless Kenny has a backup plan here in terms of replacing Hudson with someone with experience, I think he's perhaps pushed the envelope too much.

One thing is for certain: Kenny has probably used his best bargaining chip to procure Jackson, who is quiet honestly, average.  Sure, he's got some experieince, but he's a career 44-49 in his career with a 4.74 ERA.  That's hardly not the Sox standard when it comes to pitchers.

Maybe for a low minor leaguer, Washington will throw in Livan Hernandez so the White Sox can add to their Cuban collection.

This story isn't over yet (I don't think.)
