- Leave it to Jerry Reinsdorf to score major kudos by kicking Jay Mariotti while he's down. I am not a fan of Marriotti nor am I a fan of any man who hits a woman, but it just seemed odd to me all the love for The Chairman. who has turned into everyone's kindly old grandfather. Truth is, he's got a few things he shouldn't be proud of, although nothing on the scale of Marriotti's transgressions. It's just funny to see how polarizing Marriotti is when people like The Chairman, who have been polarizing in the past, can take their best shot at the pinata that is now Jay and get universal appreciation.(The Big Lead)
